Information we collect
- The business name, location and review link selected to program your card.
- The products, package and optional add-ons placed in your cart.
- Contact, delivery and order information provided through Shopify Checkout.
- Your email address when you choose to sign up for a Tapntrust welcome offer or marketing emails.
- For signed-up visitors, funnel information such as the signup date and time, whether an item was added to cart, whether the secure checkout button was selected, and the associated timestamps.
- Messages and information you choose to send when contacting support.
- Website interaction information such as pages viewed, referring source, device and browser details, clicks, scrolling and session activity collected through analytics technologies.
How we use information
We use this information to program and test products, process and deliver orders, provide customer support, provide requested discount offers, send marketing communications where you have chosen to sign up, understand the customer journey, prevent misuse and meet legal or accounting obligations. We do not use customer business credentials and will never ask for a Google or payment password.
Welcome offers and marketing emails
If you enter your email in a Tapntrust welcome offer, we may store that email together with the date and time of signup and selected storefront funnel actions. This helps us understand whether people who request an offer later add a product to cart or proceed toward Shopify Checkout. The storefront does not record payment completion in this lead sheet. Marketing emails can be unsubscribed from at any time using the unsubscribe option provided in the message or by contacting us.
Shopify Checkout
Checkout, payment and order details are handled by Shopify and its payment providers. The Tapntrust storefront does not collect or store full card numbers, CVVs or payment credentials.
Google business search
When you use business search, the search text and selected public listing information are processed using Google Maps Platform services. The chosen business name, location and review link are attached to the Shopify cart so we can program the order.
Browser storage
The storefront uses browser storage to remember the Shopify cart identifier and recover the cart on the same device. It can also remember when the welcome offer was shown so that the same device is not shown the popup again for approximately 14 days, and can temporarily associate signup/cart/checkout-intent timestamps with the same browser. You can clear this information using your browser controls.
Google Sheets lead records
When the welcome offer is enabled, signup and associated funnel information may be sent to a Google Sheet controlled by Tapntrust through a Google Apps Script endpoint. The lead record can include your email address, signup timestamp, Add to Cart status and timestamp, checkout-intent status and timestamp, the welcome discount code, landing page and referring page. It does not include payment card details.
Website analytics and session recordings
We use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel and Microsoft Clarity to understand website traffic, advertising performance and how visitors interact with the storefront. These services may use cookies or similar technologies and process information such as pages viewed, referring source, approximate location derived from IP address, device and browser details, clicks, scrolling and session activity. Microsoft Clarity may reconstruct interactions as session recordings and heatmaps. Input fields are masked by Clarity by default, and Tapntrust does not intentionally use these tools to collect passwords or full payment card details. You can limit cookies and tracking through your browser settings and any privacy controls made available on the website.
Storage and disclosure
We keep information only for as long as reasonably needed for fulfilment, support, marketing preferences, record-keeping and legal obligations. Information may be shared with service providers such as Shopify, payment providers, Google Maps Platform, Google Workspace and Australia Post where needed to provide the service. We do not sell personal information.
